Internship Program
The Internship Program is available to participants who have successfully completed the Vocational Day Program, based on the feedback of the Academy job coaches. The Internship Program provides paid and unpaid internships with our community partners. Participants will work individually with a job coach to learn the required job skills and duties necessary as set forth by the company.
Participants works day and hours will vary based on the needs of the company. Evening and weekend work may be required.
Participants have the option to participate in the Internship Program as well as the Day program.
The program goal is the have a participant sufficiently trained, eventually without the need of a job coach, so that the community partner considers offering full-time or part-time employment. (Employment is not guaranteed)
